I’m Sasha Chapman—a storyteller, strategist, and creative thinker passionate about communication and branding.
A friend once asked me what I’d want my personal mission statement once I leave this world and I said, “To be a source of joy and comfort in every life I touch.” That’s exactly why I’m drawn to PR, advertising, and brand storytelling—not just as strategies, but as ways to create meaningful human connections.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Public Relations & Advertising at the University of Southern California, where we explore how brands build trust, engage audiences, and stay culturally relevant in an ever-evolving media landscape. My passion lies in culture, entertainment, and lifestyle—whether they’re intertwined or stand alone. These elements bring people together, shape identities, and offer moments of escape. And let’s be real—life is hard enough! Great storytelling gives people something to connect with, to believe in, and to feel seen by.
Before USC, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Texas Christian University, where I majored in modern dance with a journalism focus. My background in movement and performance shaped my approach to storytelling—teaching me how to evoke emotion, capture attention, and communicate beyond words. Whether on stage or on the page, I learned that the best stories aren’t just told; they’re felt.
Right now, I’m working remotely as a rebrand strategist for a catering company in my hometown of Houston, helping reposition the brand to reflect a more upscale, fine dining experience. This project has reinforced just how powerful storytelling is in shaping perception and emotion—how a brand’s essence isn’t just about visuals or messaging, but about how it makes people feel.
At my core, I believe the best brands don’t just sell—they resonate. And as a Southern girl trying to make her mark in the world, I’m bringing that mindset to every project I take on.
